    This is where you appear should you enter from the ground floor. This room is filled with thieves, bookcases (thieves actually read?), tables and chests.

Second Floor (AR0306)

    Loot the floor, there are some rich pickings here - after all this is the Thieves' Guild.

    Renal Bloodscalp - He greets your party by recognizing Yoshimo and wonders whether Yoshimo has come to pay his debt. However he soon notices the Protagonist and, since Gaelan Bayle highly recommended you, Renal offers you a job and apparently you are the only one to do it. He needs an outsider to infiltrate Mae'Var's guildhall and find proof of his treachery. Renal suspects that Mae'Var aims at Renal's place in the Thieves' Guild. During the course of the conversation you can also learn that he is not a leader of the Shadow Thief Guild, although he does lead enough as he puts it. Should you accept this undercover assignment (What if you decline ???), you will be given official transfer papers. Once you find proof of treachery, you have Renal's blessing to eliminate Mae'Var. To begin your mission Renal tells you to head to the storefront in the central Docks and speak with a man named Gorch, he'll let you in once he sees the papers.
    Once you obtain the damning evidence of Mae'Var's betrayal, Renal Bloodscalp will give you a license to kill so to speak, you'll have an OK to wipe out Mae'Var and his goons. After killing Mae'Var you can return to Renal Bloodscalp to collect your hefty reward.

BRING EVIDENCE: 48250 exp.
KILL MAE 'VAR: 45500 exp for each party member, Short Sword of Backstabbing, 10500 Gold.
    You can pickpocket Renal Bloodscalp for some items.
PICK THE POCKET: Potion of Extra Healing (3), Potion of Invisibility (2). Oil of Speed, Bloodstone Ring, Fire Opal Ring,
    Check out the 2 tables, 3 locked chests (one of them is trapped - a third one) and a small hole in a crate.
DISARM THE TRAP: 1750 exp;
PICK THE LOCK: 3 x 400 exp;
LOOT: Bolts +1 (2), Potion of Extra Healing (5), Potion of Fire Resistance (2), 429 Gold, Diamond, Pearl (3), Garnet Gem,  Light Crossbow,   Bolts (60).
    Also check out the little room with a table, dresser and two locked chests (one of them is trapped).
